Spitting Caves (China Wall Drift)

Location: East Side of Oahu
Depth: 35-50 feet
Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Named for rock formations on the surface that can cause swells to “spit” up into the air, this East Oahu dive site is usually paired with the Corsair plane wreck.

It’s also known as the China Wall Drift because of the dive's proximity to China Walls, a 35-50 ft wall with a variety of caves and ledges to explore.  Green sea turtles, eels and sometimes spotted eagle rays are seen at this dive site along with an occasional reef shark.
