Location: West Side of Oahu
Depth: 75-90 ft
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
The Mahi wreck is one of the most popular dive sites on the West side of Oahu and a staff favorite. Visibility can be perfect and the variety of marine life here is unforgettable and also varied. A 176 ft mine sweeper built in 1939 and sunk here intentionally in 1982, the Mahi is located on the West Side of the island. With decks at 70 ft deep and hull at around 85 ft, you’re likely to see schools of eagle rays, green sea turtles, and rare fish like the frogfish. An ideal penetration dive for those that are Wreck Diver certified, the Mahi offers portholes and passages to explore. Whether you’re Rec or Tech, this is a great dive.
